Bridal Kanzashi style Barrette in Vintage White kimono fabric

Description

Two piece set for the modern Lolita on her wedding day - one French clip barrette with multiple flowers and dangles and a matching single flower hair pin.

This modern adaptation is handmade using vintage kimono silk and pearl like buttons. The French clip is firmly attached to the flowers by gold tone wire, the flowers are backed with felt. Raw edge fabric on underside. The base of the barrette is covered with felt and the dangles are attached to a cotton cord. The piece can be gently adjusted in position. The hair pin is a matching flower.

The barrette is beautiful arrangement of three flowers and three dangles each with five petals. The silver tone French clip barrette is 3" size and the flower are about 1 3/4" across and about 3/4" in height. The dangles hang down about 3 1/4". The total size of the barrette is about 5" tall x 4 1/2" wide and about 2 1/4" deep. The matching piece is a single blossom - it is on a 2 1/2" black hair-pin.

The fabric is from an antique kimono. It is a bright white color with a very light subtle rectangular shiny and matte pattern. The centers pearl like white buttons.
