SUMMER RAIN, turquoise and sterling silver dangles perfect for any season

I read once that the blue turquoise is male and comes from the sky, and that green turquoise is female and comes from the earth. In reality, the blue color comes from copper, and the green color comes from iron. Some varieties have more copper or more iron, thus resulting in different shades of turquoise.

These earrings are just over 3" long, not including the ear wires. They make for a nice, long, dramatic pair of earrings, but ones which are still casual enough to wear with anything in your closet.

ABOUT THE COMPONENTS USED IN THIS AND OTHER MESHEL DESIGNS ORIGINALS:

SILVER: All metal components in my pieces are either fine or sterling silver, and I incorporate many, many Bali sterling beads into my work, as I appreciate the great attention to detail and the handmade beauty of these beads. The Bali silver beads in these earrings are the lovely daisy spacers. I also purchased the sterling connector rings from Bali, but I'm not sure if these qualify as "bali beads" or not (i.e. whether or not they are handcrafted as the real Bali beads are).
