A glittery bauble to decorate your neck!

Tiny size 15 dark gold rocaille beads were woven together with sturdy nymo thread to create a netted cage for a faceted clear acrylic bead. I chose an acrylic bead for its lightweight nature - a glass bead would have been rather heavy to wear! The netting fits snugly around the center bead and the nymo thread is worked through numerous times for maximum durability.

Red Crystals accent the netting around the outer perimeter, and at the bottom. The top is capped by a gold glass disc bead and a 4 millimeter sterling silver ring allows the ornament to be hung on a chain. The jump ring is soldered shut - this jewel will not slip off and escape!

The delicate sterling silver chain is included with this piece - but you can slide the bauble off of the chain should you choose to wear the chain alone.

The chain measures 18 inches (457.2m) and has a spring ring clasp. The bauble is .75 inches (19.05 mm)at its widest diameter and 1 inch (25.4 mm) from the top of the jump ring to the bottom tip.
