The Colors of Spring
Description
This one of a kind night light is my entry for the Creative Glass Guild of Etsy’s April Challenge “spring is in the Air “. It combines a layer of white glass with a layer of clear glass that is imbedded with paper-thin shards of translucent pink, purple and blue glass and shards of opaque aventurine green glass and thin threads of pink glass. The process of fusing class can trap tiny air bubbles between the layers; this doesn’t affect the structural quality of the piece, but adds to the uniqueness of each one, and is often an intentional design component. This overall height of this night light is approximately 5” and its glass component is approximately 3 ½” X 2 ½”Added on Apr 19, 2009
