Spring Growth Necklace
Description
4” x 2”Loose and whimsical, the decoration on these handmade porcelain shapes is applied using a slip-trailer. This process creates a slightly raised line that adds texture to the piece. Glazed with a clear glaze, connected with handmade metal links, and finished with a dark blue ribbon, each necklace is an original composition.
The swirl pattern in this pendant reminds me of new spring growth, baby ferns perhaps. The tiny sweet dots are echoed in the smaller round hanging just below.
The ribbon is generously sized so you can tie it off in a big floppy bow or a simple knot at just the length you prefer your pendant to hang.
