Cobalt Blue and Shino Pitcher, Wheelthrown and Altered by Jon Whitney

Description

This fun pitcher is finished in a striking cobalt blue satin matte glaze with a yummy shino glaze on the bottom half creating my unique faux wood fired look.
This version of my pitchers in first thrown on the potters wheel then cut and altered for a distictive look. Don't worry they pour pretty good!!
Size is around 8" tall and holds 5 - 6 cups of liquid.

Shipping prices are quoted with handling materials taken into account. If the actual price is significantly less I will refund a portion via paypal after the item ships.

Jon Whitney Pottery was established in the country setting of Mason Michigan in late 2004. Since that time I have strived to make beautiful functional pottery that is affordable enough for every day use. I thrive off inspiration from natural forms and the ideas of the arts and crafts movement.
All of my wares are high fired stoneware finished in a gas reduction kiln. The work is safe for the dishwasher and microwave for easy handling.
