This piece is constructed from simple blue and white thin striped cotton at the breast panels, navy floral cotton at the waistband, and thin cotton blue and white gingham plaid at the skirt. The waistband as well as the breast panels, which tie together at the back to make a halter neck, are lined with soft pink cotton. The skirt is a basic cupcake shape with gathers at the waist band to give you plenty of flounce! This piece zips at the back and the skirt is unlined.
The "waist" on this jumper typically sits just below the bust, but can be adjusted according to your preference. The cotton has very little give so please be sure that you can live with 24.5”.
This piece is absolutely unique and one of a kind. This garment has been constructed out of reclaimed or second-hand fabric, which means that the material was purchased uncut from a thrift store, not that it’s from a previously existing piece of clothing. These measurements are precise—remember to figure in breathing room!
**Please note: I always recommend hand-washing each of my pieces in cool water. Since all of my fabric is “found” I’m often guessing as to fabric content, and gentle washing in cool water is the best way to care for most wools, and all handmade pieces!
