Confetti Cup Pendant - pink, orange, yellow

Description

This is my "confetti" copper pendant. Copper discs hand cut, domed, polished, and then touched with flame to bring out a beautiful patina of colors. This particular pendant has a deep pink touched with orange in the larger cup, and shades of bright coppery yellow in the smaller.

Each pendant is unique, as the flames bring out different colors and patterns of color.

An argentium silver jump ring is used for the bail.

I will treat each piece with Renaissance Wax (museums use this product for preservation) to help preserve the gorgeous colors from fading with oxidation and tarnish, but you should always keep your copper and silver pieces enclosed in a box or other protective container when you're not wearing them, and never wear them in the shower or bath. Exposure to the air helps hurry the oxidation/tarnish process.
