Groovy Symbols of The 60s and 70s Tissue Box Cover
Description
This tissue box cover was created starting with a paper-mache base made of sturdy recycled material (made in the Phillipines). The pictures were obtained from old and damaged comics and affixed to the box cover using decoupage glue and techniques. The entire tissue box cover is covered with multiple layers of a water and alcohol resistant polyurethane protective coating. Cover measures 5 x 5 x 5.5 inches. This tissue box cover is covered with advertisements for embroidered and iron-on patches featuring iconic symbols of the 60’s and 70’s. There’s the Peace Sign (both types!), the Ankh, the Playboy bunny and the Pinball Wizard. Others feature hip sayings such as “Truckin’” and “Let’s Boogie” – the whole tissue box is time capsule stroll down memory lane of absolute grooviness.
But wait! That’s not all you get. Anybody can decorate the part of an item that’s going to be seen all the time. But this amazing tissue box cover is not only decorated on the outside but is also COMPLETELY covered on the inside with classic advertisements from the world of funnybooks. It fits over a cube sized box of tissues that are pulled through an opening in the top (most major brands have tissues in this size).
