Patty II Quilted and Beaded Patchwork Bag in Sulky from Basic Grey

Having long loved the Basic Grey Designer Paper, I am delighted that they have recently started designing beautiful fabric as well. The Patty II bag fabric is from their Sulky line brand new this spring.

Gorgeous pink, lime, and brown cotton fabrics blend wonderfully in this comfortable and chic bag. Clear beading swings from the header, and I've quilted with an all over meandering stitch in sulky thread to add a little sheen.

Inside are three pockets for your phone, keys, and ipod. I've used Warm and Natural 100% cotton batting, and the bag is lined in white cotton fabric.

The Patty II is a great bag to herald spring.

My pieced and quilted bags are built for a comfortable, casual lifestyle, are roomy, and close easily and securely with a gentle tug on the straps. Purses travel comfortably on shoulder, back, or handheld.
