FIRST FROST - hand dyed worsted wool blend yarn from recycled Hollister sweater

This yarn has been harvested from a high-quality, name-brand sweater. "Go Green" with your knitting!

It happens every year, that first beautiful frost that puts tiny, diamond ice crystals on all the crunchy leaves. It's breath taking and now your knitting can be too!

Knits up FAST into a funky hat or nice lacy capelet to throw around the shoulders when the night gets cool! Or make a darling little muff for someone to keep the chill off their hands!

THIS LISTING IS FOR ONE SKEIN ONLY! This yarn is actually 2-ply Heavy Worsted weight. It will come to you nicely wrapped and wound into a center-pull ball. If you would rather have it in skein form, please convo me!

This skein contains two joins but no knots. Each first time buyer (and repeats if I feel so inclined, LoL) will get a "Somethin' FREE!"

For 2009, 20% of the profits (sales minus cost of merchandise, mailing, and listing fees) from my Etsy shops will go to the building of a new Youth Center here in the Greater Knoxville area! The one we have now currently serves something like 700 young people. Thanks for helping our local kids!
