Description
When my great aunt Jenny stopped making jewelry professionally in northern Maine over 30 years ago she sent all her remaining inventory to my mother who stored them away. This has left me with dozens of necklaces that I will never get the chance to wear, so I am sharing them with you.What could be better than jet? For centuries it has been used as a symbol of mourning, but its beauty comes from the matte surface. Jenny had paired the matte jet with shiny plastic tubing for a beautiful effect. The necklace is 33 inches long.
