Lillith Cloche, Olive Green Felt

Description

I made this olive green felt hat entirely by hand. I started by steaming and blocking the felt on antique wooden forms. The brim and crown were shaped separately and then sewn together; I sewed a wire into the edge of the brim for extra structure. I then trimmed the hat with three lengths of intricate olive green cording. A fabulous leather flower sits at the right side of the hat. This cloche is fabulously stylish and very wearable; the brim is short in the back to leave plenty of room for a jacket collar or a scarf.

This hat has an interior measurement of 22 1/4 inches. This is a hat size 7 1/8 and is suitable for a medium sized head. A length of olive green grosgrain ribbon forms the band on the inside of the hat.

All of my hats come with a complimentary hat box.
