Ducky Ducky--Bobbin Lace Earrings

Description

In answer to the EtsyFAST April team challenge to create items fitting the theme “Just Ducky”, I worked out a new little bobbin lace motif of a duck. This was a fun little idea to develop, and led to some interesting challenges. The fourth picture in this listing shows the back of one of the ducks, and the fifth is an in-process picture.

Each little duck is worked from 19 cotton threads with a tiny glass seed bead worked in for the eye. The findings are sterling silver, and the lever-back earrings will hold the very lightweight earrings securely in your lobes!

Ducky width: 1 5/32” (2.9 cm)
Ducky height: 13/16” (2 cm)
Total earring length: 1 19/32 (4 cm)
