Description
Size: 4.25" tall, 3.5" across the top (5.5" including the handle). It holds 1.5 cups of liquid.This white stoneware mug was hand thrown and trimmed on my pottery wheel. The unique relief is created by first drawing and then painting a shellac design on the finished dried greenware and then gently wiping away the surrounding clay. The piece is then bisque fired which burns off the shellac. Then the mug was glazed inside and out with a turqoise glaze and fired to cone six.
