FALL, LAKE ERIE is part of my Landscape Series, a series of paper and / or paper and fabric collages, some hand-stitched, and inspired by landscapes in my environment. Most of the pieces in this series are created in situ, but a few come out of remembered landscapes that have left a strong impression on me throughout my life.

This mixed media collage is an original artwork, and is professionally double-matted. The last picture in the listing shows it in its frame.

I am lucky to live near the beach along Lake Erie. It’s a great place to sit and think, as well as to gather beautiful sticks, rocks and leaves. This piece recreates a peaceful fall day, near dusk, on a typically cloudy Cleveland fall day at Huntington Beach.

Materials: Chiri paper, beach sticks, linen thread, artist sketches with watercolor, pencil and oil pastel, photo-transfers, watercolor paper; mounted on linen and double matted.
