Chickadee Polymer Clay Sculpture on Painted Peach Blossom Trinket Box

This beautiful box is a way to keep Spring with you all year round! The lovely little one-of-a-kind (OOAK) chickadee is sculpted from polymer clay and painted with acrylics. He’s been permanently attached to this chipwood box I (Nancy) also painted with acrylics. Both the bird and the box have also been coated with a protective gloss coating. This is a wonderful place to store your small treasures – rings, earrings, and the like.

The box itself measures 4 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches, and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The chickadee is only about 2 3/4 inches long. There’s a matching green ribbon around the top rim of the box, and the inside bottom of the box is lined with tan felt. This is chipwood, and while solid, is best for storing your lighter treasures. It would also make a wonderful gift box:-)
