The "Fairy Skirt Belt," an Aberrant Crochet(TM) original design, is a crochet and yarn, tie-on belt skirt that can be created with a variety of yarns, colors and textures.

Creation time involved: Around 20+ hours

Please note: All custom orders are scheduled. Crochet is a hand art and cannot (yet) be replicated by machine. What that means is that I need lead time to complete your order. The closer we get to the holidays, the more competition custom orders will have with each other. Please order early! The cut-off deadline for all custom orders in 2009 is at Thanksgiving. No custom orders will be scheduled between Thanksgiving and the 2nd week of January 2010.

This belt-skirt design was inspired by a desire to have something both fun to wear, yet easy to take on and off - for ocassions like ren faires, costume parties, belly dancing, other fun dances, Halloween and of course Dress-Up! I've enjoyed making sewn tie-on belt skirts for kids before and wanted to do one in yarn for taller folk.

This item is designed as a tie on belt with an array of eceltic fibers creating the skirt effect. I love drape and textures!

Most certainly a labor of love!

SIZE: One Size fits most, but will be customized to your specifications. Please send waist measurement.

(Belt example pictured is 37" long with 17" ties. Skirt is about 28" at longest point.)

CARE: Hand or spot wash. Due to the soft micro-fibers, I always recommend spot clean first, though the yarns are hand washable. Believe it or not, these fibers hold up well, even in rain and snow and will dry well just fine on their own. But the texture will change a bit if completely soaked and agitated too much.

Each belt is truly a OOAK (One Of A Kind) Pixie Worx! original.

Included is the original artist signed certificate of authenticity tag. All pieced are named and logged when sold.
