Dinosaur Bone Necklace

Description

This pendant is made from an actual piece of fossilized dinosaur bone! The fossil cabochon itself is more than 1 1/2 inch long and 3/4 inch wide (40 mm x 19 mm), and is set in sterling silver. The pendant hangs from a 20 inch sterling silver chain. Only dinosaur fossil fragments of no scientific usefulness are used to make cabochons such as the one in this necklace. Fossilized dinosaur bone is usually made of agate; this particular stone is reddish brown with a light grey matrix and white highlights. A small informational card is included.
