Handsome and multi-functional, this style of boxes is handcrafted by us from locally reclaimed barnwood.
Making use of boards that once faced the sunny side of an old building, each shows a wonderful patina of warm sunburnt browns. Even the inside bottom and underside of the lid show off the rich colors of the sunburnt pine and the occasional original nail hole tells a story of its former life.
The wood has been carefully sanded to make it smooth and wonderful to touch, but has otherwise been left completely natural.
The sleek design is very versatile and would fit on a desk or dresser, holding pieces of jewelry or serve as a pencil box.
Since each box is one of a kind, the one you will receive will be quite similar to the pictures above, but will have its own unique markings.
It measures appr. 9 x 3 x 1.75 inches (23x7.5x4.5cm).
