Mountain Lake Sunset

Description

This piece consists of a set of two separate panels hung side by side. The incredible quality of light present at sunset in the Rocky Mountains was the inspiration for this work. It is an especially magical time in the high mountains with stark shadows and bold contrasts. The main panel is 23" x 40" and the smaller left panel is 23" x 9". Both pieces have a hanging sleeve sewn on the back and both have tags complete with title and signature. Both pieces are machine pieced and quilted with multi-color embroidery thread.
