Handfelted Necklace -- Moonlight
Description
A beautiful, hand-felted necklace made from white and charcoal-colored wool, with delicate detailing, including lace accents, freshwater pearls, and hand-formed flowers. I carefully layered the wool to create interesting gradation and blending, then accented with lace and tencel fibers (made from wood pulp cellulose) for a marbled effect. Beads and embroidery were added post-felting. I also created delicate flowers from a vinatage fabric I found at my local flea-market and added a pretty button closure at the back.Dimensions: Approximately 2.25"/5.5 cm (w) x 14"/35.5 cm (l)
