Do you garden ? When I was a kid I spent alot of time at a summer home. We were near the beach, and most of the homes were built on sand. Growing anything was so difficult! I remember digging into the sand, and seeing how it would change colours the deeper I got, from light beige to deep dark coffee brown.
This Botswana Agate changes colours just as the sand did, from light cream to chocolate brown! I've bezel set it in scallop edge fine silver on top of sterling silver. I have then adorned it with one growing sterling daisy up the side, and another growing along the bail.
The entire piece has been oxidized for character, and it comes on a 17 inch drawn sterling chain. Please contact me if you would like a longer chain.
The stone with setting is approx 1 3/4 inches ( 45mm) tall and 1 inch ( 25mm) wide.
