Who is to say orchids do not have something special to whisper. Sasha is my son's beautiful cat. She tends to lean while sleeping sitting up and decided I wanted to do a portrait of her leaning into some orchids perhaps listening to the orchids special song in a fantasy type of atmosphere in the night.

The original painting is acrylic on canvas and was painted for my son's birthday. It was entered into a juried show and won an award.
