New York City Sights original multi canvas painting

Description

This is a rather large piece consisting of six separate canvasses making one complete painting. Part of my New York Times series. I have used a combination of my own painting and images from a tour guide from the early seventies. Layers of paint atop the pieces of the newspaper make a unique texture. The edges of the wrapped canvasses are painted black so a frame is not needed and would ruin the look of the work as well. These can be hung by simply suspending the back edge onto a small nail or even a thumbtack.

Original one of a kind. Not a print or copy. Signed and dated on front, signed, dated and titled on back.
