felted high top baby shoes - bluebird - size 2, 3-6 months

Description

Super cute felted knit high tops for that sporty baby in your life. Inspired by my beloved Chuck Taylor's, these little sneakers are made of 100% merino wool in bright royal blue, with coordinating blue ribbon laces. This pair is size 2, measures 3 3/4", and should fit babies 3 to 6 months. Dry clean preferred. May hand wash in cool water, reshape and air dry.

A little about the process: Each pair of these high tops is lovingly hand knit with wool yarn. They start out as rather large booties, and shrink considerably in the "fulling" or felting process. In this process, the knit booties are agitated in hot soapy water, which causes the fibers to shrink down and mat together to form a solid felted cloth.

These come in a 100% recycled gift box tied with grosgrain ribbon, perfect for gift giving!
