Mushroom Dreams Necklace with Charms and Mixed Metals

Mushrooms are a truly amazing and ancient form of life. They are now being researched because they can break down toxic compounds and help clean up the enviroment. Their spores can even survive a trip through outer space. I collected this whimsical glass mushroom pendant in Madison WI a few years ago. Its delicate aqua blues and greens inspired the choice of the other beads. Dream On.

The glass mushroom is about 32mm long and 15mm wide. It is attached to a multi circle chain with a rope patterned natural brass ring. Other beads attached to the chain include: a 13mm silvermouth turban shell bead; a faceted reconstituted citrine rondelle 12 mm wide; a 13mm sea-foam green glass leaf; 2 freshwater pearls; and an 8mm poppy jasper round (the earthy brown color of the soil needed for mushrooms to sprout.

Above the chain are: a blue-green glass faceted czech rondelle, gold-plated spacers, 10mm wide aqua terra gemstone rondelles and a 6mm round Peruvian opal. The natural brass oval chain is 6mm wide. At the ends of the necklace are a natural brass heart-shaped lock charm, for secrets, and a brass disk with the word "dream" engraved on it. The solid brass lobster clasp can fit on the chain links to make it adjustable.

Length is adjustable up to a length of 26 inches. If you don't mind the clasp showing in front and a long chain in back, it can be adjusted down to 16 1/2 inches. Please convo me if you would like to shorten your purchase. I would be happy to accommodate you, at no extra charge.
