Clown Fish

Description

This all textile 4" x 6" postcard features a pieced block with a center piece printed with colorful clown fish. The card is densely quilted in a meandering pattern. It is signed on the back with its title and date of execution. The card is stiffened with TimTex and has a white fabric backing that will accept writing (Sharpie marker recommended) and self adhesive postage. And, yes, it will go through the mail. The postal workers squint and frown a little when presented with a textile postcard (its quite amusing, actually). Then they measure it to be sure its the right size. You do have to use some extra postage compared to a normal postcard and they do have to be hand-stamped. But then, off they go! What a cool surprise to send someone! Or save it for yourself as a piece of mini-art.
