Description
This all textile 4" x 6" postcard features a whole cloth (not pieced) fabric in a glorious large scale print designed by Jane Sassaman and is quilted with contour quilting. It is signed on the back with its title and date of execution. The card is stiffened with TimTex and has a white fabric backing that will accept writing (Sharpie marker recommended) and self adhesive postage. And, yes, it will go through the mail. The postal workers squint and frown a little when presented with a textile postcard (its quite amusing, actually). Then they measure it to be sure its the right size. You do have to use some extra postage compared to a normal postcard and they do have to be hand-stamped. But then, off they go! What a cool surprise to send someone!
