Quilted Frame Purse - Brick Red Bunny Bag

For your consideration I have a beautiful little snap purse with leather handles.

This bag was created using fine Japanese cotton fabric in brick red with an all over print of leaping bunnies and tiny green flowers. The body of the bag is quilted with a feather stitch, and has four pretty vintage bakelite and vegetable ivory buttons on one of the oxblood/eggplant lambskin leather handles. The top closure/snap hardware is antiqued brass. This purse is lined with honey colored linen. The fabric has been reinforced for stiffness.

The measurements of this bag are 8" across the top hardware, 13" across the base, and the bag is 8 1/2" tall excluding the straps. The corners of this bag at the base have gussets.
