Description

Silverlode's felt is made from cotton scrim fabric, silk throwsters waste, wool roving, silk fabric, silk noil and organza ribbon. Her surface is embellished with glass beads, sterling silver seed beads, vintage nailhead beads, and hand embroidery stitches (colonial knot, seed and buttonhole bar).

I have whip-stitched around her edges in silvery grey embroidery cotton, and her back is covered in black felt, with a silver metal finding with safety catch. She measures 6 (2 1/4" approx.) in diameter, and she is fairly flat (about 6mm or 1/4" thick at most).

Silverlode is one-of-a-kind, and there will never be another quite like her! I hope whoever gets to take her home will love her just as much as I loved making her!
