Vintage China Pendant

Description

This is a gorgeous piece of floral vintage china which I've made into a pendant by metalsmithing a bezel of out brass and silver. I used some braid pattern silver ring shank to create the bail.

After soldering the pendant, I tumbled it, then antiqued it in a sulfur solution and then tumbled it again for a short time which leaves it with a wonderful aged appearance as you can see in the second photo.

The third photo shows a closeup of the china and the wonderful crazing it has from age. The china piece is about 1 1/4" squarish and the antiqued brass necklace chain is 18".

Each necklace comes with it's own handmade gift box (see ecovintagevegan) so makes an excellent gift for graduation or a birthday!
