Where It Appeared (no. 17, oil on wood, 5 x 5)

Description

This is an original little oil painting from my 2009 series. This is #17 in the series, "Where It Appeared." It's the location of a mysterious occurrence. What was it? What appeared? Well, you just missed seeing it, and I can't possibly describe it to you! You can see where it took off--there is a column of white smoke rising up on the stormy horizon.

The painting is signed, dated, numbered and titled on the reverse. There is a sawtooth hanger on the back which makes hanging very simple. Like all my little paintings, it's ready to hang and doesn't need framing: the edges and back of the wooden panel have been stained chestnut brown in a semi-gloss finish.

These one-of-a-kind little paintings are nice to hang in a cozy nook or small space in your home, above your desk, or any spot where you need a little window to another land.
