This listing is for a handmade journal cover, and, a little journal that fits perfectly inside : )

Because most of the journals I make are one of a kind items, the idea of having the option to just add another blank book and keep using the handmade cover is appealing. I use journals for an assortment of things, but, would hate to use up all of the paper and then be forced to set my pretty book aside. So, as I finish up writing on the last page, I simply remove the cover and replace the old journal with a fresh new one and still get to enjoy the original cover.

The cover is a woven decorator weight plaid. A nice blending of white, black and turquoise. The closure is a very soft black leather, and, a metal hook and ring (handmade by me). The metal is sealed with a professional grade sealant to prevent tarnishing.

The leather closure strap is permanently affixed (stitched)to the journal, so, you won't need to worry about looking for it when you need it : )

Measurements: (cover measured with journal inside) 8" (20cm) high, 4.75" (12cm) wide), 1" thick.
The little journal inside is 6.75" (17.3cm) high, 4.5"(11.5 cm) wide, 5/8" (1.6 cm) thick.

There are 120 sheets of lined paper for you to jot down all of your deep, random thoughts (see last photo) : )
