red and pink waldorf window star

Description

this is a waldorf 'window star', as seen in waldorf schools all across the country. when placed in a sunny window, the beautiful colors of the transparent paper come shining through. they are made using traditional 'kite' paper, which is stronger than other papers and will not fade as quickly. each is made by folding pieces of this transparent colored paper many times to form a single starpoint...then assembling these single starpoints to make a star. these look great in groups! each is unique and beautiful in it's own way and measures 9 inches x 9 inches. this one is made in beautiful colors of red and pink.
