Ocean Beach Necklace with Fine Silver Spiral and Treasure Beads

I believe each bead in itself is a work of art, wrought by both Nature and human ingenuity. I have acquired a number of wonderful beads over the years, and found these that evoke the feeling of water, sun, and sand of an ocean beach.

The fine silver spiral was handmade by the Hill Tribe in Thailand & measures 13mm wide and 20mm long, not including the loop. It is held by 2 sterling coiled spacers. I have incorporated a variety of mixed silver spacers between the beads, including 4 mm fine silver cornerless cubes from the Hill Tribe.

The kinds of beads included are: an oval impression jasper, a sparkly rare pyrite in matrix, various freshwater pearls, swarovski glass crystals, blue crazy lace agate, various colored quartz including black tourmalated quartz, and various other glass beads. Next to the round black & white tourmalated quartz is a color change rondelle bead. It changes from purple in sunlight to blue under fluorescent light, just for fun. Sterling coiled spacers finish the bead strand.

To get an idea of size; the impression oval bead near the front is 18mm long, the round black pyrite bead is 10mm wide, the faceted citrine quartz rondelle bead is 12mm wide, the white pearl coin is 12mm across, and the purple round bead is 8mm wide. The whole strand of beads is about 9 1/4 inches long.

The 3mm wide antique silver plated cable chain has oxidized silver plated bicones. The necklace ends with an oxidized silver lobster clasp, sterling silver ring, and oxidized silver plated extender chain with a glass and sterling charm.

Length of the necklace is long: 31 inches, and adjusts to 33 inches. Please convo me if you would like to shorten your purchase. I would be happy to accommodate you, at no extra charge.
