Brilliant Blue and Green Labradorite Lariat Necklace

Description

This is a stunning necklace that is sure to be a focal point and draw attention! I have wire wrapped a beautiful smooth heart cut labradorite bead in sterling silver, and hung it from one end of a 18" or 457.2mm round link sterling cable chain. This large bead measures 10/16" or 15mm long by 9/16" or 14mm wide. At the other end of the chain I have added a handmade hoop of sterling silver which I have hammered for texture and polished to a high sheen. This hoop measures 1 1/16" or 30mm across. There is no clasp on this necklace...to wear, simply slide the labradorite through the hoop and go! Sliding it through 2 or 3 times will make the piece stay completely in place, and the bead will then hang nicely at the top of the bust line. This necklace can easily go from casual day wear to a dressy night out on the town! Even the backside of this bead is lovely as shown on the very last photograph.
