Amber Sparkle , A Gorgeous Vintage Brooch

This brooch has lots of sparkle in it. It was part of my grandmother's collection. It catches the light beautifully!

The center stone is a delicate amber color. It seems to have a small inclusion --- a natural sort of birth defect -- but, in my opinion, it doesn't detract from the shimmering beauty of the stone. The stone is surrounded by other tiny little stones, and looks like marcasite. I noted 3 missing tiny stones, but it is not very obvious because the little stones are the same color as the setting.

The brooch measures 2 inches in length. It is unmarked. There is a safety clasp on back.

My grandmother loved each piece in her massive jewelry collection, and I hope this beauty finds a happy, new owner.
