Bing Crosby Decca Record Set
Description
This is one fabulous estate sale find! This Bing Crosby “Drifting and Dreaming” record set was put out by Decca Records in 1947. All four records are included in the set. Each album is indexed in handwriting by the previous owner on the record sleeve.Included on the four albums are:
“DRIFTING AND DREAMING”, “IT’S BEEN A LONG, LONG TIME”, “WHERE THE BLUE OF THE NIGHT MEETS THE GOLD OF THE DAY”, “THE WALTZ YOU SAVED FOR ME”, “WHEN YOU’RE A LONG, LONG WAY FROM HOME”, “WHEN I LOST YOU”, “I’M DRIFTING BACK TO DREAMLAND” and the “THE SINGING SAND OF ALAMOSA”
The album cover certainly shows vintage wear, with a tear on the top side and bottom. Please see photos. One of the albums has a chip on the edge. Unfortunately I do not have a turntable so I’m can’t comment to the quality of the sound.
A creative customer at one of our Vintage Trailer Rallies bought a similar album to use as a scrapbook! Enjoy!!
