Here is an Heirloom set that you will want to pass down for generations!

This Christening set includes the gown, hat, booties and blanket all made with 100% mercerized cotton crochet thread. This set would fit a baby from newborn to 3 months old. This cotton thread also stretches so it's longer than the measurements that I am giving. It's a very light beige in color and has that heirloom look to it. The roses on the whole set are a very light peach, almost beige in color. The ribbon on it is a light beige.

The gown is long measuring 21" from the very top of the dress to the bottom. From armpit to armpit measuring the front of the dress is 9 1/2". From the neckline on the side to the end of the sleeve is 6". The neck open is 7 1/2". There are two roses on the front bodice of the gown and one rose on each sleeve near the ribbon. Three beige buttons close the dress in the back.

The hat measures 6" wide as seen in the picture. Ribbon around the botton of the hat closes it.

The booties also close with the ribbon and a rose is on each bootie on the top.

The blanket, made with the same crochet thread measures 25" long and 27" wide. It stretches also and can wrap around baby more than the 27". The ribbon goes all the way around the edges of the blanket and on all 4 corners is a bow with the same rose that is on the rest of the set. This blanket is also a one of a kind since I designed it myself. There is no pattern for this blanket so you will be getting an original blanket that no one else has.

Alot of work and detail went into this set and it is all made with the crochet thread. The entire set can be machine washed on the gentle cycle but I would recommend washing by hand. To dry it you can roll in a towel and dry flat.

It's a beautiful set that can be passed down from generation to generation. I pride myself in my work and this set is made well. I also love the idea of a baby being Christened in something that I made!
