Read Naked - Mature
Description
This is a linocut and watercolor. Oil-based Graphic Chemical ink on 100% cotton rag achival quality paper, with watercolor tipped in later. Signed and numbered on the front using graphite.Edition size is 10, with 2 artist proofs. It measures 6 x 4.25 inches, and the image size is 4 x 3 inches.
The American Library Association did not go for this one. It could have been a great way to get people to read again. Just the thing, ya know? But, they said no, and as a direct result Americans are reading less and less.
Institutions reward conformity, not creativity. I should know that by now...
