Quiet Tan Plaid Lolita - kanzashi flower barrette
Description
A Japanese kanzashi inspired hair flower on a snap clip barrette. This is a modern adaptation of Tsumami Kanzashi (the art of folded fabric hair ornaments).This handmade barrette is built on a silver tone 1 7/8" snap clip barrette with vintage kimono silk set on a felt base - raw edge of fabric on underside. The flower measures a about 2" across and 3/4" in height.
The petals are a pretty woven plaid pattern with tans, muted yellow & subtle browns, greens and red. The center is a beautiful golden tan opalescent domed antique button.
