Luxury soft pink, icy silver linen and cotton shawl.

I have used a number of different yarns to create this lovely shawl. The majority of the yarns have been spun by a very talented Irish knitter/weaver and this linen mix of soft pink, icy silver/light gray, with a subtle blend of salmon/peach and a blue and pink mixed yarn is a fine example of her range of color and talent in weaving yarns.

The cotton yarn is also an icy blue/silver; it has been knitted on one end of the shawl. The other end of the shawl is soft pale pink. Both of these yarns have that slubby effect that makes them look like they hold within their weave a load of tiny precious gems.

A viscose yarn is also knitted between each change of color in the yarns. This also is a slubby, metallic yarn which is extremely beautiful. It combines the shades of icy blue, silver and pink.

A woman cannot wear pink without feeling beautifully feminine. It is a color that compliments almost every skin tone and it is more neutral than you might think, meaning that it will go with many things you already have in your wardrobe. Dress it up with a strappy little number or wear it with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.

Toss this graceful shawl over your shoulders, link arms with your lover and step out on the town. Or put your mind into a peaceful, lovely place by wearing your shawl when you are alone, perhaps walking along the seashore or while enjoying the brisk air of a new dawn or the end of a wonderful day on the brink of sunset.

This pretty in pink shawl is a generous length of approximately 5’5” and 2’ wide. There is a tassel effect on one side of the shawl.
