Description

I see it so often on the forums-- some folks just flat out don't want to write their descriptions. Or they're not sure what to say. Or they're too busy. Or they had a lovely description, but the cat threw up alllll over it, which happens to us all.

Whatever the reason, I would love to help!

Please read some of my item descriptions. I can build a unique and well-written story around any item. Whether you want your buyers to have straight-up facts, a few good laughs, or a mystifying experience, I believe I can help.

Price is for one Etsy item description. Upon purchase, please send me a conversation with all the details you can provide, including materials information, sizing, inspiration, and the general "feeling" you're looking for in a description, plus details on what is important to you. I will get to work. Within 48 hours, you will receive your description as a Word or PDF document. If you need help with titles, I'll throw that in, as well. If you are not happy with your description, I will take your suggestions and hit the drawing board again for one more try. So price includes one "do over".

Please see the two examples below. These visual art pieces have relatively long descriptions, whereas one for jewelry or soap might not be so long. You can always cut and paste from my creations as you see fit.

Lewis Nutterstein pretends not to like tulips, when actually, he *loves* them. He dreams of traveling to that place in Europe with all the tulips and windmills, but he can't remember if it's Iceland or Turkey. His favorite pasttime, besides sniffing tulips, is eating sunflower butter sandwiches and watching reruns of Seinfeld.

This original chunky painting measures 4 inches square, 1.5 inches deep. Created with acrylic, Amy Butler decorative paper, and a lovely rhinestone jewel, it has been varnished for a shiny glow. Hangs easily or can sit on a shelf. A lovely decorative element with beautiful patterns!

Thanks for looking!

I'll fly away and live with the Ewoks and swing from vines all day and go naked as a jay bird. The Easter bunny will come over to eat Count Chockula and I won't have to clean my room and i'll wear glittery jelly sandals in the middle of winter. If they make me go to time out one more time for fingerpainting on the wall with wasabi, i'll fly away!

3.1 x 3.25 x 1.5 inches
8 x 8.5 x 3.5 cm

This little piece was made with wooden board, newspaper, Amy Butler Nigella paper, acrylics, gesso, and love. Lots of love. It looks great sitting on a shelf, or I can attach a hanger for wall mounting.

Fifth in a series of original OOAK small paintings on wooden board, these works were inspired by my series of Defenestrated Duchesses. The cropped shot of Lily's feet and stockings got more views than anyone's face. Instead of throwing them out of windows, though, I thought they just might be flying away on grand adventures.

I imagine this one as a creative and eccentric 8-year old who is quite sick of being told what to do. I know today's 8-year-olds probably don't know what Ewoks are, but I know I had that thought when put in time out for refusing to take a nap and drawing on the door with mommy's lipstick instead.

Okay, fine, so it's probably about me.

Thanks for looking, and yub yub!
