These earrings are made with beads I bought during the time I was designing and making jewelry for the Nature Company.. remember them?
Because I bought these beads when silver prices were lower, I will pass them on to you at a lower cost than I could today. These beads are thick, strong, and will take punishment! The same kind of bead, if it was made in Tasco, Mexico would have been made with much thinner silver these days. Don't get me wrong... I love much of the silver work coming from there, it's just that the company I buy from in Attleborough, Mass, makes their beads so strong. I made the head pins too, because this style would have lost much charm if I had used the commercial flat head pins. (It's all in the detail!)The earrings hang 39 mm from their Silver lever backs and the base of the bead is 10 mm wide. This is the kind of jewelry you can wear every day, with jeans or something more chic!
