Garnet and Silver Shibori Silk Scarf

Description

Treat yourself to this luscious, hand painted, silk satin scarf. Rich garnet red accents pale to chateau rose on a bed of silvery gray. Gorgeous, soft, and luxurious, you won't go wrong with this one!

Sized to wear many different ways, this is a versatile scarf. It measures 9.75 inches by 56 inches (24.77 cm by 142.24 cm). Wear this one loose off the shoulders, as a jabot, as a belt with slacks, as a sash on a dress, as a headband or simply wrapped traditionally at the neck and tied with tails off one shoulder.

Hand painted using a Japanese Shiboir pole wrap technique, the acid dyes were steam set. This lovely scarf has rolled hems. To clean it, wash the scarf in a mild soap like baby shampoo, rinse in a conditioner and hang dried. Press on low or your silk setting if needed.
