Not only is seaweed edible, but it can be glamorous as well!

Maid of Seaweed is a unique, one-of-a-kind art doll. She is completely handmade from head to fin without the use of molds, kits, patterns, etc.

Hand-sculpted using polymer clay and painted with artist-quality acrylics with a finishing glaze.

Contains a wire armature for added durability, embellished with:

A "royal" V-shaped breastplate with tiny pink glass beads on either side, and "Seaweed Green" fibers...she is a true "Queen of the Kelp!"

Dimensions:

Approx. 26 inches from head to tip of tail.

14 inches high in seated position, approx. 10 inches depth.

Her long fish tail can be bent and twisted to allow for a "sitting" position, (against a back support). Arms can also be adjusted.

Maid of Seaweed is intended as an art piece (heirloom) for display, and although quite durable, should be handled with care, not intended for young children.

Perhaps she would enjoy a spot in the window garden, or the boudoir, or by a fishtank....
