Copper Carb Ridged Scallop Shell Coaster

Description

This piece was made from the actual impression of a scallop shell pushed into soft, white clay. After removing the shell, the tile was then fired in my kiln to about 1800 degrees. Once fired, I hand paint the impression and put a clear glaze on the tile and then refire.

Each coaster measures 4.25" X 4.25" and has clear bump-ons on the underside so that they do not scratch up your table.
