a drawing of a lovely little chandelier with a birdie on top...

if you love french knots, here's your chance to make ummmm, 200ish of them.

the hand-drawn design is in a simple little one page pdf for you, nothing fancy-shcmancy. because it is hand-drawn, you have some wiggleroom when it comes to tracing your pattern. have fun and go with it, i say.

the design area is approximately 7 by 4.5 inches.

first i used a lightbox and an el cheapo (not a brand, a description!) water soluable pen to transfer the drawing to my fabric. i then stitched the design with 2 strands of floss onto linen. i used 2 shades of gray. for the french knots, i also used two strands of floss (wrapped twice around my needle). and those, lovelies, are the only directions that you need!
