Antique Sparrow -18k recycled gold and sterling silver

This 19th century fine feathered friend is from my collection of antique English steel stamps, ornately made by an expert craftsman from long ago. The last photo shows the stamp, which the rings are on. Can you see on its tip (to the right) how it has been used quite a bit over its long life? Yet it remains in wonderful condition - - an amazing find!

Using 18k recycled yellow gold for the top and recycled sterling silver for the shank, this ring is not cast but rather entirely handmade at my bench. It has a soft, organic-looking matte finish.

Working with antique tools connects me to the ancient nature of goldsmithing, and these antique stamps make it so you can enjoy the experience as well.

The last photo shows three variations of this ring: 18k yellow gold, sterling silver with an 18k yellow gold top and sterling silver - - all recycled metals.

The top is 9mm x 7mm approx with a 1.0mm shank. This ring is size 5 1/2, and I will size it for you up or down by as much as two sizes (including half sizes) from what is is now for no extra charge. For different sizes, please contact me for a quote. Turn-around time is five days (excluding weekends and holidays).
